How is the translation cost calculated?
The unit of measurement adopted by SWISS TRANSLATIONS is a line of 50 characters, spaces included, or 50 keystrokes. The translation cost varies according to the language combination, the type of text to be translated and how urgently the translation is required. How long does it take to complete a translation?
The time taken to complete a translation varies according to the length of the text to be translated and the complexity of the language involved. Our quote will include an estimated completion and delivery time. If your job is urgent, simply let us know and we will endeavour to offer you the best possible delivery time.
How do you pick your translators?
SWISS TRANSLATIONS only works with native speakers, who always translate into their mother tongue. All our translators have been handpicked on the basis of their professional experience and expertise in various fields, such as technical, legal or scientific translation, and so on.
How do I get a quote?
It couldn’t be easier! Just send us an email with the text you want to translate and we’ll get back to you with a free quote listing our costs, delivery times and translation procedures to meet your needs. You’ll always need to send us the text to be translated so that we can establish the length and draw up an accurate quote. Our quotes are commitment-free and will not cost you anything. All documents we receive with be kept strictly confidential.
How do you ensure your translations are accurate?
We handpick professional translators and native speakers with years of experience. This is the best guarantee for ensuring the accuracy of the translation, its truth to the original and the use of appropriate terminology. Furthermore, before delivery to the customer, every text is revised thoroughly by a second translator for quality control purposes. In the event of errors, clients are entitled to have the translation corrected. However, this is not the case if the issues with the translation are due to the customer (e.g. if the customer has sent incomplete or incorrect information or provided the wrong original texts).
